The root canal is mechanically prepared and widened in a safe and effective manner. Can also be used to remove gutta-percha tips. Optimal sensitivity functions. Total mobility thanks to the cordless design.
Advantages:
- Auto start-stop: The motor automatically starts when the file is inserted into the canal and stops when removed. There is no need to reset it for individual canals or when the unit is switched on.
- Auto torque reverse: The motor stops and reverses if the torque applied to the file exceeds the threshold. This threshold can be set at different levels. If the threshold is exceeded then the display lights up and there is a warning sound. This prevents the file from getting stuck in the root canal.
- Auto apical reverse: When the tip of the file reaches the canal depth set by the dentist and indicated on the display, then file rotation reverses. The digital display and a warning sound will indicate when this happens.
- Canal measurement function: It can be used as an electronic gauge for measuring the length of the root canal. The device does not have to be reset for each canal. An accurate measurement is calculated from the ratio between readings at two different frequencies (400Hz and 8Hz), in both dry or wet canals. Canals filled with electrolytes such as saline or hydrogen peroxide can be measured with the same precision.
- The extraordinary flexibility of nickel-titanium files results in excellent canal preparation (especially severely curved canals), which is impossible with conventional stainless steel files.
