The Proclinic endodontic range has been expanded with new fibreglass and carbon-fibre posts, a major innovation in the prosthetic reconstruction of devitalised teeth. - Proclinic anatomical posts are manufactured in special fibreglass and epoxide resin, for optimum affinity with cements typically used to bond and reconstruct cores. - The wide range of sizes ensures that there is always a post that adapts to the canal anatomy, without any loss of root dentine. - The micro-grooved surface and, in the case of fibreglass posts, the dentine-like colour guarantee optimum contact with the surface of the tooth, increasing axial resistance and providing a colour similar to that of dentine in visible areas. Features: Elastic modulus akin to that of dentine. No root fracture. Longitudinal fibres. No oxidation or corrosion. Cylindrical-conical shape. Physicochemical compatibility between post, cement, dentine and reconstruction. Easy to use. Great value. Micro-grooved surface. Advantages: Post can be easily removed for subsequent treatments. Stable and biocompatible. Post is fracture resistant. Uniform distribution of occlusal forces and no periodontal damage. Made from a single piece. Considerable cost savings. Better contact with bonding agent.
