Tribos represents the image of the form created by nature in its functionality and aesthetics considering all the fundamental elements of the tooth. This is the indispensable condition for a natural occlusion and a good function of the chewing organ.
These are quality teeth developed in 3 layers of PMMA manufactured by a "mega-Press-Inject" compression system to optimize density and surface hardness.
The primary morphology (PM/PS forms) describes the tooth without wear with only minimal punctual contacts on the grinding surface. The entire basal body allows for use in the entire prosthesis and on implants.
Secondary morphology (SM/SS) describes the first two-dimensional contacts with incipient abrasion facets. The tooth is basally reduced.
Secondary Abrasive Morphology (SLA/SMA/SSA) describes contacts with multiple abrasion facets with minimal cusp inclination. The tooth is tunnel-shaped and therefore reduces assembly time, especially when mounted on steel constructions. This morphology can be applied to all types of prosthesis.
Tribos 501 C are only available for secondary abrasive forms, they are considerably harder (30%) and resistant to abrasions, pressure and have a high fracture toughness.
