IPR-DISTANCE CONTROL SET
Manual stainless steel instrument for the measurement and control of tooth distances heated during IPR protocols During orthodontic treatments using the interproximal stripping process, predefined and measured interdental spaces must be created. With the stripping method, measurable and calibrated spaces are created through the removal of dental tissue in order to obtain exactly the space necessary for the movement of teeth into a harmonious and correct position. Practical Tips Height of measuring part: 4mm • Length of measuring part: 40mm • Total length of instrument: 50mm • Plastic clip as fastening system of the 8 elements in the grip • Sterilizable (with exception of plastic clip) and reusable • IPR-DC is inserted in the vestibular/buccal direction. • If the designated instrument does not enter into the interdental space created, proceed to measure the interdental space with the thickness gauge immediately below or through a combination of 2 or more instruments. • If the designated instrument has too much play in the interdental space created, proceed to measure the interdental space with the thickness gauge immediately above or through a combination of 2 or more instruments. • In order to assemble the Intensive IPR-DistanceControl Set, insert the plastic rivet inside the holes of the 8 superimposed metal instruments and apply pressure to engage the head in the rivet. • In order to disassemble the Intensive IPRDistanceControl Set, remove the head from the rivet by applying outward pressure
