O-Pur® is a novel presentation of pure oxygen, completely innocuous, free from conservatives, fuels and odours. Each can contains 8 litres of oxygen (approximately 80 inhalations) and comes with a mask which, upon turning upside-down, is ready for oxygen application without any further apparatus.
The advantages of such straightforward oxygen application are clear:
- Small inhalations reduce nervous tension and stress, improving vital functions.
- Patients with bradycardia notice a substantially improvement.
- Pulmonary ventilation improves and hastens the anaesthetic effect due to increased blood flow.
- Particularly recommended for difficult patients as there is a direct relationship between anaesthesia and oxygenation.
O-Pur® is not a substitute for resuscitation equipment.
